Cut vinyl decals are made of a solid color vinyl that is sticky on one side.
It is computer-cut vinyl as a shape or lettering, cut out to the exact shape of the graphic on adhesive vinyl to apply on cars, windows, walls, and more.
How does Cut Vinyl work?
The vinyl goes into a plotting machine that cuts the vinyl with a small blade but leaves the backing paper intact. Once the vinyl is cut, the excess vinyl is removed (a process called “weeding”). Then a layer of application tape is applied to the cut shape to enable easy transfer onto the material of your choice.
Which materials are suitable?
Most smooth surfaces such as glass and sheet metal are suitable for cut vinyl to be applied to.
